There can’t be many professionals out there with my background: 30 years working professionally with trees, in forestry, woodland management, arboriculture and horticulture

I have the skills and experience to look at the issues you have concerns about, provide professional advice, produce the necessary reports and plans and then organise and carry out whatever work may be needed.

My background:
I have a degree in Botany, a Professional Diploma in Arboriculture and a wide range of specific training and qualifications, kept up to date by CPD (continuing professional development).

In my career I have worked for one year in commercial forestry, three years in commercial horticulture, ten years as a horticultural trainer and lecturer and two years as an arboricultural lecturer.
I have 17 years of woodland management experience and 20 years of individual tree management, inspection, and maintenance experience.
I have 16 years experience of managing arboreta and for the past two and a half years I have run this business, working as a consultant in all the above fields.

I have developed my career in the positive aspects of working with trees, woodlands, gardens, orchards and arboreta. I have a broad range of clients in all of the above fields, an enjoy the interesting variety this gives to my work.

I have a passion for horticulture and arboriculture and bring this passion to every project I work on, whether it be large or small.
